Gok Swimwear is a stretch wear manufacturer specialising in innovative and premium quality activewear, gymnastics wear, dancewear, leisurewear and swimwear with over 30 years’ experience. Want to start your own swimwear range or activewear label? Here at Gok Swimwear we can guide you through the entire process from fabric suppliers to labels and accessories.
The following is the manufacturing procedure we follow with you to ensure you get the perfect garment for your brand.
Design Phase
Book an initial consultation with Gok Swimwear to discuss your vision for your fashion label. To prepare for your consultation, bring along any inspirational garments, photos or sketches. During the consultation, the our experienced team will advice you on garment construction and fabric selection to ensure your garment is cost-effective, and efficient.
Pattern Making Phase
After the design phase, your garment will start taking shape during the pattern making phase. Gok Swimwear will create a paper pattern which will serve as the foundation for a sample garment. Following the approval of the pattern, we will digitise your pattern with our in-house StyleCAD to finalise the grading of your pattern.
Sampling Phase
Once your sample is ready, one of the Gok Swimwear team will contact you to arrange a progress consultation. During this time, we will require your guidance for a full review of your design. Have yourself or someone else try on the sample and test it out in the environment you envisioned your design to be used in. Any alterations may warrant a second sample for approval.
Sample Approval Phase
The sample turned out to look exactly how you imagined it and better! With your stamp of approval, you’re now ready to submit a production order with us.
Production Phase
Afterwards, the qualified Gok Swimwear cutter will prepare and cut your fabric in-house. Our StyleCAD technology ensures maximum yield during this phase.
At this stage, Gok Swimwear will require a production deposit. Then the magic happens. We guarantee quality manufacturing with our dedicated in-house team. Note that we require minimum order quantities per size per colourway per style for production.
Finishes
Gok Swimwear offers an extensive range of finishes on your garments including flat locking, Rouleau, binding, buttonholes, plain sew bind and bar tacking.
